   Hello,
   I bought a replacement quartz dome for my Rainfresh model 830 at Home Hardware. The glass is smaller than the one in my system.
   Do you have 2 different sizes of domes for this model under R830QD?

     Hello Gilles, Thank you for your note. R830QD comes in only one size. There is a possibility that you might have picked up the smaller R519QD quartz dome which is for the smaller R519 UV unit. Please check with the store or call us at 1800 667 8072. Thanks

   This is more of a question than a review. I have bought numerous bulb replacements from peavey mart (formerly TSC). I had not noticed before but the new bulb had a smokey haze by the filament. I was not sure if this is typical of the manufacturing process or if I had purchased a used bulb. I have taken some pictures of them. I have them in my system now. Here is hoping that everything is functioning normally.

   We have had the Rainfresh lamp for years. We are noticing it lasts less than year. Is there a reason for this?
