How it works
SM4 gravity ceramic water filter has two stainless steel containers, one on top of the other. Four ceramic filter cartridges are housed in the top container which is filled with untreated water. Water slowly passes through the ceramic cartridges under gravity where bacteria, cyst and other microbes are retained and killed. Also reduces microplastics. Safe water collects in the bottom container under gravity at a rate of up to 2.6 liters per hour.

Great product; easy to assemble and use. I love the water I get from this, and recommend this to friends and family with confidence. Also good to support a fine Canadian company!
This is a well-made, high-quality gravity filter. The ceramic filters will last a long time, and are not expensive to replace.
I am happy with my purchase and with the excellent customer service.
Thank you, Rainfresh!

My basic problem with this unit is it takes for ever for the water to pass through the top part filters to the bottom tank this is not acceptable. Every time I lift the top to seethe flow down I see nothing but a very small drip from the bottom hole of these ceramic filters. I was shipped replacement filters and after a couple of day I am still having the same problem. I understand after a few hours of filtering I should have filtered water but at the drip rate I am seeing it appears that it will take days to filter down not hours as is claimed. I wish I had never bought this expensive system. Also there should be an option to use other kinds of filters than these ceramic filters.
